Lea, our conversation today started with you asking “What do you think about what is going on? (In relation to the allegations against Roy Moore.) I answered that at coffee with a few others this morning, our conversation did touch on the scandals that are happening in Hollywood, and other places. The Harvey Weinstein saga is called “the worst kept secret in Hollywood.” Now, actors, producers, sports figures, politicians, etc. are being accused of these same things.

It is time for America to “go to the mattress” (Godfather)
America’s citizens have to educate themselves about our constitution, our laws, and our government and the political system.
It’s time to take off the blinders and pay attention to the wounds that people in power, people we voted for and trusted, have ripped into the fabric of our country.
After reading these two books I was inspired to ask every person in this country to read them.
Yet another citizen of America has been awarded for their mediocrity and bad behavior.
The 49ers announced their team awards last Friday afternoon and Colin Kaepernick was the recipient of the Len Eshmont Award. This award is given to the 49er who “best exemplifies the inspirational and courageous play of Len Eshmont, an original member of the 1946 49ers team.”
Let’s talk a moment about the 49ers and how they’ve done this year under the leadership of Kaepernick.
Today is a very special day for our country and our world. It is a day to honor our Veterans and their families for the sacrifices they have made for our country. We are honored to have Major (Ret) Ed Pulido on the show talking about his experiences in the Iraq War, his injuries from an IED, and his work with Folds of Honor Foundation. We also have General (Ret) Kathy Wright, the first female general in the Wyoming Army National Guard. She has thoughtful insights about women in the military and how we can support our vets (and their families) as a community. As always, we will begin and end our show with hot topics, including current events and politics.
Let me start this month’s letter with a disclaimer. I believe that strong women (wives and mothers) are vital to our society and the success of our country…but that’s not what this letter is about.
I want to know where have all the real men gone?
If we take a look at the headlines in the news these past few years it’s the same messages over and over again…
