Good Evening everyone, it is truly an honor to be here. I am thankful I can share my faith with you in this humble prayer. I would like to take this opportunity to ask God to bless this event and our lives.

Please take a moment to bow your heads…

I ask that you bless us as we gather around the table to partake in this heartfelt meal. I ask that you bless the food, that it may nourish and strengthen our bodies, and bless the hands that prepared it.

I pray that you would enhance our love and friendships as we visit. And be with us in both our thoughts and conversation.

Thank you Lord for Lori and Ellie Duran for their volunteerism, and for their creative, thoughtful guidance over this evening’s entire event.

Thank you for the endless efforts of the exceptional volunteers and committees who are here to make a difference.

Please bless the work of the American Cancer Society of Weld County and their outstanding professional staff.

Let the important work of this organization be successful and let their intentions to find a cure be never ending, and the promise of a Cancer free world fulfilled.

Lord, touch all the lives of those who are living with Cancer and are suffering. I ask that you give them comfort, peace, and courage. Give the doctors, nurses, and family members wisdom and strength. Let them feel your presence each and every day.

No one in this room is untouched by this disease. We grieve for those who have lost their battle, but we know they are not alone. As we walk down our road of grief, we have peace knowing our loved ones are now surrounded by your glory. For those who are in this battle, never give up!

As we near the end of this prayer, Father in heaven, I ask you to bless the United States of America and all of its citizens, that they may prosper and thrive. God please heal our country, let our nation be led by your Gospels during times of joy and tribulation.

I pray for the protection of our military, police, and firemen. May they mount on wings of Eagles, may they run and not grow weary, and may the walk and not faint. Bless the flag and all those who have laid down their lives for our freedoms and this great country. God bless America.

I ask all these blessings in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord,

Amen
